A lot more people nowadays are leaning into a plant-based lifestyle and recognizing the toxins in our everyday home goods. You might even be one to make your soap at home already, or support a local entrepreneur's body scrubs, but maybe you haven't started laundry detergent.

This right here will cost about $15 but will last a lifetime of better clothing and a chemical-free, clean wardrobe. You can order gallon jars online or find them in your local Walmart or Target I'm sure. Grab some Castile soap, baking soda, and white vinegar.

This right here is made with 1 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1 cup of Castile soap, and the rest is filtered water. However, I have seen it made with 1 cup of vinegar as well but have seen feedback that baking soda and vinegar cancel each other out. So test it out, see what works for you, but eliminate chemicals and toxicity from your home with simple DIY recipes at home.

Can I skip the baking soda? Since it sinks to the bottom
