Your film skills make having a kid look like an Apple commercial. Incredible

Back in 2018, when I had my first child I started watching your channel to learn how to be more productive and balance my work and family. Now years later I see you doing that very thing for yourself! You are doing great! Never give up. 🤘🏻

I think all of these videos about parenting will be even more useful than the minimalist once for me someday!

Yes, acceptance! Acceptance helps you find things that work better, while giving you a way to feel gratitude and enjoyment in what you have ❤ everything changes with acceptance. You guys are amazing!

I feel you mate. 2 sons. No breaks throughout the day, but worth it. Witnessing them grow. Frankie is adorable.

Girl Dad X 4 here. Great video. This will probably serve as birth control for some folks. Starting and growing a family is not for everyone and I really appreciate your raw, candid feedback on being a first time parent. Being a parent is simultaneously the hardest job I have ever had while also being the most rewarding and fulfilling job I have ever had. The days are long, but the years are short, indeed. Appreciate all of your content, Matt!

The advice at the end is true. 8 hours is not an option anymore, but looking into the eyes of my child and being able to hold your whole world in your arms makes it worth it. My wife is pregnant with number 2 and I wouldn't change it for anything, but yeah buy a coffee machine.

I haven't laughed so much in a long time! And not to say the obvious, but Frankie is truly adorable.

Your editing, rhythm, humor and storytelling in this video is “chef’s kiss”! Also Frankie is sooo adorable, you and Nat make amazing parents.

It’s funny - I’m smiling at all of these parenting videos. Not out of schadenfreude, but out of memories of when my kids were that small. So thanks for that, Matt. You and Nat look like you are doing a great job. Frankie looks healthy and happy.

Man, didn't think I could relate to Matt more, but then he became a parent lmao. Matt - if you read this, hope you're doing well. Also thanks for the YouTube course. Just blew past 27k subs. cheers

My mum always told me, once I turned six, I was a lot of fun to raise.
Trust my mum and trust me, always keep loving your child and always keep trying to keep them both safe, and loved.

You will never get that sleep back, but you'll have a person you'll adore for the rest of your life, and that person, will have two people he will always look up to.

As a mom to a nearly 8 year old, 4 year old and 10 month old who hasn’t slept through the night more than two consecutive nights in a row for 8 years I cried during this video. It’s so hard to be so sleep deprived and yes it’s worth it but sometimes I wonder what kind of incredible mom I could be with more sleep

As a 41yo father to a 3yo, this version of Matt speaks to me so much. Unfortunately my lack of sleep is still continuing and is impacting my energy levels and enthusiasm to look for a new career path, as well as my overall anxiety. But I have been surprisingly level headed when it comes to parenting.

If anyone knows how to make a video brilliant in every way it’s Matt D’avella. From the visuals to the audio to the script itself Matt always manages to strike that balance perfectly. 👍🏼

I love that this is Matt's experience... because Nat's right. This is only half the battle of nursing mums! And I am SO pround of you two watching how you balance and support each other.
