Calming down your mind 1 hour before sleep is the gamechanger. No phone, just journaling, reading, reflecting and planning the next day. This will also increase your sleep quality, just try! 🙏

Watching this at 4am cuz ughhh I can’t seem to fix this. I used to work different shifts- early morning, morning, afternoon. My sleep cycle changed based on my work and affected my hormonal imbalances too. Now that I’m on break from work for a few months, I can’t seem to sleep before midnight and wake up in the morning. I used to have dinner by 8pm and sleep by 10-11pm 😭

Learn to feel like sleep is a from of procrastination. Never try to sleep. Always say your going to wake up in an hour. Not sure if that is why I can sleep for more then a day if I let myself. Think all that is false but it feels true.

I know this is a short but this is incredibly oversimplified. I've had this problem for over a decade and have literally tried this many times.

The problem is his "solution" doesn't actually fix the problem but rather shows how to prevent it.

Great to not have the problem at all but doesn't fix much when you actually have it again. This is especially true if you're waking up at completely backwards hours.

• I'll wake up at 6:45 am
• I will stretch and do a dance routine in the morning
• I will have my coffee before 12 in the noon
• I will routinely take a shower after dinner
• I will limit my phone use with just music an hour before bed
• I will turn off all the lights an hour before bed
I will sleep at around 10:45 - 11:00 routinely

Sleep or not, when my sleep schedule is completely horrible I stay up:

Staying up does not reset it AT ALL. What I do is go outside at 7-8, literally just sit there, exercise maybe and then eat immediately after.

B4 bed I calm down 2 hrs ahead, fast for 4 hrs, shower right b4 bed.

Then I do a bunch of breathing exercises.

Take a walk until - 9:15 pm
Take a shower until - 10:00 pm
go down for dinner at - 10:00 pm
finish eating - 11:00 pm
go on my phone until - 11:30 pm
take melatonin at - 11:30 pm
Possibly make tea at - 11:30 ( and drink it along with any other activity I’ll be doing before 12:00)
free time until - 12:00 am ( so I can read, journal, listen to music, do yoga, meditate, etc.)
Go to bed at - 12:00 am
Wake up at - 7:30 am or if that backfires I’ll wake up at 8:00 am

sorry for writing this lol I was just planning out my night routine <3

Extras - I’ll sleep with a fan ( like I usually do) for white noise, and possible play calming music aswell ( might be to much though-)
I’ll get - 7hrs and 30 mins of sleep or 8 hrs

Also don't work out before you sleep. That will keep you awake.

i think i have insomnia cause i could literally stay in bed with my eyes closed for 4 hours and still can’t sleep like i wanna fix my sleep schedule

I agree that, even tiem you sleep at should be in the same time every day.
