After watching Cobra Kai, Silver looks like an unbeatable beast; and then Mr Miyagi schools him without taking a single hit tossing him left and right. What a killing machine he was.

Thomas Ian Griffith absolutely slid back into this role like he never left. What a legend.

I like how Mr Miyagi never puts his hands up. He just stands there and counters everything like it's nothing.

"Either you fight 1 fight on 1 day, or you fight everyday for the rest of your life." This is actually a really good line about facing your fears.

I like how Miyagi was looking serious when he thought he was going to have to fight both at the same time, but the moment Kreese insisted that he'd fight Miyagi himself, you can see the tension left Miyagi's face. Like he knew, this was no longer any kind of threat.

What I’ve always loved about Mr Miyagi, is that we’ve never actually seen him go above a tiny percent of his full capabilities in combat. He’s probably never had to go above 20% of his full strength (and even that’s probably generous) against Johnny and his goons or against Kreese, Mike and Silver. He didn’t need to. It makes you wonder what he was like in his prime when he had to use his full strength during the war. Man must’ve been an absolute beast.

Mr Miyagi is the embodiment of “Martial arts isn’t meant to kill, it is meant to protect”

"Do the crane, Danny boy!"
"Be careful what you wish for, Silver. But, the time is not quite right yet."

Miyagi sends Terry flying into glass and…so does Daniel at the end of Season 5; I love this callback!

I love how you never see the joke coming because Miyagi looks so serious. Like when he honked Kreeses nose in the first Karate Kid 🤣

This is proof that there is nobody as badass as Mr. Miyagi

The fact that Mike Barnes is one of the good guys now is a great redemption story

This goes to show how powerful Mr. Miyagi is. An old Mr. Miyagi demolished both a prime Silver and a prime Kreese. Daniel and Johnny couldn't even get through Terry Silver and even Chozen struggled, and Mr. Miyagi just easily handles him without even using any sort of super-secret techniques or anything.

You'll notice what LaRusso was doing the whole time Miyagi was fighting: watching and learning. Daniel literally repeated how Miyagi never got touched by Silver on him again. But this time using Silver's teachings against him. Class act

The fact that the old Mr. Miyagi was able to fight off two of the greatest/strongest characters in their respective style and win with ease just proves how strong Miyagi was

I think back to all the times Mr. Miyagi talked about balance. Watch how he moves about the floor. Every time Silver attacks, Miyagi dodges and blocks until Silver's attacks puts himself into a position where he is off balance, and that is when Miyagi easily pushes him aside or into a wall. Perfect example of martial arts used as defense.
