It’s so hilarious to go back and to see how he is literally teaching his enemy his secret technique 🤣

It’s amazing to be how much Terry could corrupt Daniel and break Daniel even in his adulthood, the chokehold he has on Daniel is terrifying

If Silver wasn’t crazy, he would actually be a really good sensei

“This guy wants to break you, Humiliate you, STOMP YOU INTO THE GROUND, AND WHATRE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?”
One of the best lines ever

And people wonder why he was more traumatized by Silver and not Chozen... because with Silver, he really did corrupt Daniel into not trusting Miyagi for a good bit of the film and because of that, Daniel was left astray until he realized that he was in the wrong headspace. With Chozen, yeah he wanted to kill him, but he still had the entire village in Okinawa and Mr. Miyagi behind him. He wasn't corrupted... so I can understand why Daniel would be more traumatized by Silver than Chozen

It’s so weird watching this scene knowing that Ralph Macchio and Thomas Ian Griffith are the same age.

"He ran into your fist, not _your_ fault, right?"

Terry has some great quotes in this film, but that one is by far my favorite.

I love how Cobra Kai pays homage to these movies instead of trying to rewrite them.

"It's blood, so what. Make believe it's his." Good line.

"He wants to break you! Humiliate you!"

*Me watching CK S5:* "Terry was referring to himself."

Damn Tory's sparring dummy was even worse than Daniel's. Poor hand :(

Terry Silver is a very charismatic character. I love him! I like his determination and confidence and then...he's gorgeous. Even now in Cobra Kai s4 and s5 with the white hair he is. I love him too much! ❤

Macchio's performance in this scene really solidifies how, even at 18, he's still only a "kid", with all the vulnerabilities of an 18 year old, easily he falls into Silver's mental trap. In just 2 minutes, we see him go from cool and confident, practicing the Miyagi lesson, to submissive, to aggressive, finally, to corrupted!

Terry used this method to taught Daniel to learn through pain, in order to weaken him, yet in Cobra-Kai, he used it to punishes Tory! Seems poetic yet brutal!

The way Silver manipulates Daniel is one of the best things of the this movie

Wonder how many takes it took to catch Daniel’s fist so cleanly like that. It’s perfect. 😂

I love that they used this in cobra kai, it's so good. Silver is an excellent villain, I can't help but love him, bit like Negan from the walking dead
