KK3 is slept on. This scene is awesome from Miyagi’s speech to Barnes taunts, then Daniel bowing to Miyagi into the kata. Then the hug at the end. A hug he’s been trying to get since part one.

As I grew older part 3 became my favourite. As a kid you love the 1st movie. Once you grow older you realize that the lessons from part 3 are the most valuable ones.

The hate for KK3 baffles me...Miyagi's speech here brings MAJOR goosebumps to me, EVERY time!

The music in this scene is epic. When Daniel got back on the line and turned to bow to Mr. Miyagi the music turned to the "Game over Barnes" part of the soundtrack.

I love Mr MIyagi's face when Daniel also made him look like I won thanks to you... He was such a lovely person ... I wish every person in this world has a leader like Mr Miyagi... what an honourable man

"Mr Miyagi" (who played in happy days with "Fonzie") is the best actor in this movie, he's the one who's carrying all the dramatic scenes...

What made the ending all the more satisfying was the fact that despite the number of criticisms by Silver how useless kata is in the All Valley, he used it to not only win the All Valley, but to outfox Silver as well...

An argument could be made here why Daniel was more afraid towards Barnes than Chozen. Chozen was directly going for the kill against Daniel, either with petty tricks or direct confrontation. Mike Barnes, with Terry Silver, were playing a drawn out psychological warfare with Daniel, hoping to wear him down slowly but surely, terrorizing his place/home/shop and his friends. This is also why Daniel was more welcoming with Chozen in Cobra Kai, albeit awkward at first, compared to him meeting Silver and Barnes (before discovering the latter had been reformed).

Furthermore, Daniel is more affected here than in Karate Kid II (or even I) because his enemies here, for a short time, had broken Daniel's sense of trust and that leaves a scar on a good number of people.

The long awaited hug is the most impactful moment

1:55 … and that was the last time we saw Terry-boy, before he got himself into therapy in a new happy life until Kreese barged in and reawaken the old Terry-boy!

I love how confused Mike, John & Terry are at Daniel's Kata. Those three comprehend only violence.

I felt they missed a golden opportunity here to have Daniel take all the moves he learned from miyagi and silver and completely over power Barnes

Karate Kid 3 is a great movie on its own. However, within the trilogy it gets hated on because it comes after Daniel fighting in a death match in the second movie. Had this been KK2 and KK2 had been KK3, I think it would be viewed differently. Like many have already said on here, Miyagi's speech is excellent.

The ending always got me as a kid but now when you think about everything it hits 10x harder as this was the last time Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita were on screen together and honestly its fitting that it ended with them embracing for the last time in film history, and now recently with Ralph receiving his star on the Hollywood walk of fame and having it next to Pat Morita's to be remembered forever😭😭

Sometimes the greatest lesson you can teach a son is to face what will be his biggest opponent in life and that’s himself !

When Danny got up he already learned the biggest lesson he would ever learn and that’s it’s ok to get back up !

Myagi's face when Daniel gets the point 🥲. I always loved it bc it was more than pride....it was a genuine love for Daniel. He was happy for him as a person....not a Karate student.
