Best thing Miyagi said:

It's OK to lose to Opponent
Must not lose to FEAR 💯👊

Miyagi thinking: “Heh. I killed a guy at one of these things.”

Mr. Miyagi & Daniel always had this special bond. Like father & son❤‍🔥

"It´s okay lose to an opponent, must not to lose to fear. You stay in focus. Daniel-san, your best karate still inside. Now time let out".

Always gets me. A life lesson for us all. Mr Miyagi truly is the GOAT of this franchise. A true mentor. It was SOOO satisfying to see in CK S5 finale how Daniel went on Miyagi-mode at the end <3

The ONLY missing element in the Cobra Kai franchise is Mr. Miyagi. Even so, the writers have done an INCREDIBLE job of honoring the character!

Mr. Miyagi's shout is meant to yank Daniel out of despair. It made him a receptive student. The bow he gives his teacher is a thank you. Daniel does this particular kata to distract Barnes. His final position is a trap, patiently waiting for any attack. Barnes is forced to come in blindly, and Daniel simply flips him. I find this ending fits with the others. When Daniel is forced past his fears, the way to defeat his opponent becomes simple. Miyagi saying that he must not lose to fear is an understatement. The kata is really a centering technique, a gathering of all focus, energy, and willpower. They think he's crazy, but he's just calm. Great stuff.

Mike takes out a hidden knife and jabs Daniel. “That’s it, Barnes, one more time and you’re disqualified!”

The best thing about this scene is the father/mentor like relationship Mr. myagi and Daniel has. That is really powerful

"It's ok to lose to an opponent, you must not lose to fear!"~Mr. Miyagi
What an epic line in this final fight. Man I miss the late great Pat Morita😢 This entire franchise gives me those feel good goose bumps.

Mr. Miyagi was full of REAL life lessons anyone can apply in real life.

If we all had mentors and friends like Miyagi, none of us would go in the wrong direction in life.

7:39 truly a masterpiece. A man teaching a boy not to be ruled by his emotions and to instead focus and deliver. It's a part of manhood. Love how they delivered that here.

It's funny when Barnes starts insulting Miyagi's karate after Miyagi previously took him out in a few seconds at the Cobra Kai dojo.

Nobody embodied honesty, compassion, and fair play more than Terry Silver.

My all time *favorite* part in this scene is when Mr. Miaygi, ( sorry I spelled his name wrong ), ran to Daniel side and gave ( Daniel ) an " encouragement " speech.

That part ALWAYS melted my heart. 😩😫

I was raised on Pat Morita as Miyagi - long long before I ever discovered he was a comic, and a comedic actor. It's such a testament to how effective he was an actor to be so believable as Miyagi over that original trilogy.
