I RAN 5K EVERYDAY FOR A MONTH... *as a total amateur*

I'm absolutely NOT a fitness expert, nor have I ever done running before so I know this is a mess, and I my technique is probably awful, but I just wanted to set myself this challenge, not to try and lose weight, or to try and get slimmer etc, just to see if I could improve at running and see if I could, in general, improve my fitness and stick to the challenge!

i'm a runner and you've already overtaken my best 5k times *internal cries*... to improve your time by 11 mins over the course of "ONLY" 30 days is ridiculously impressive, huge kudos to you for sticking to it, putting your all into it and showing everyone that it's not easy but totally worthwhile :) x

Has anyone ever told you that you look like a young Drew Barrymore?? First video I’m watching of you and I swear you without makeup on look so much like her (or she looks like you? Hey the best advice I could give a newer running is slow down, when you’re running I would recommend doing the 1st k at a pace you’re able to talk while running. This might mean it feel incredibly slow but that’s good. I always think my runs are better when they’re slower but I don’t stop. I’m not a professional I just love running, anyone else have any tips then please leave a reply! Xx

Loved this video. I’ve also been trying to run 5k or more everyday and I feel amazing. I feel stronger mentally and physically! I’ve never been able to run for longer than two minutes before!

My god I wish I lived in Yorkshire!! I started walking/running 5ks at the beginning of quarantine too (previously NON runner) and I’ve been super enjoying it! Congrats on sticking to it😊

Omg I understand so much with the pain in your hips! My friends recommended doing a stretch warm up thing from the Nike training app! There’s a video of it on YouTube too and now my legs hurt way less! I got to 5k but stopped when it got really hot and now I can only manage 3k again 😭 I’m sure I’ll get there again ☺️

Well done!!! I have been running for a year now (3 times a week for 5 to 15 km) and now, after 1 year, I can run 5 km in 26 minutes and am so proud of it. I am hoping one day 25, but well, it is hard. Btw I´m 34 and never did any sports before...you can all do it if you want :-)

This is amazing molly!! Also thank you for being so honest about not being a runner and also about days you struggled, so many times I watch workout vids etc from non fitness youtubers and it’s edited to look so effortless and unrealistic 💕

Smashed it girl! As someone who has struggled with hip pain I am only commenting from my own experience. But, looking at your feet when you're walking, they face outwards a bit which is probably what is trigging your pain. Once this pandemic is over it might be worth going to the doctors to get an appointment with orthopaedics who will help you. I got given these weird insoles to fix the position of my feet but they worked. Just a thought x
