I was 250lbs and starting running. The very first time I ran I had a 12 minute mile. I then lost 80lbs and was running a 8:30/ 9:00 minute mile. Then I gained 25lbs and was running a 6:30 mile. Then I lost 20 pounds and ran my all time best mile 5:43 seconds. I am still running everyday at 210 pounds and feel amazing. You can too!

I ran 4.5 miles 4x a week (started slowly) last year around march 2021. Completed a Half Marathon on Oct. 31 2021. Finished 13th overall time of 1hr 49mins — 1st in 35-40 category. Got back in the best shape ive been in since Bootcamp in 2001 at 17 years old. Still going now. Feel great

thb, im currently on my 5th day of 5km a day run. I am an overweight 23yo with sleeping problem and smoking habits. after the 3rd day doing the exercise, my sleeps start to get better. from sleeping at 2:30 am to 11:30. run thus helps much in getting healthy. and yeah, i stop smoking.

I've always enjoyed running but I got lazy and stopped. But I'm back running a 5k everyday and it sure feels fantastic, only been 30 days but I've lost the extra kilos and my mood is so much better. Glad to have gotten back to running. I missed it. 😀

I've been running 5 miles day, 5 days a week. Added weight exercises and stairmaster as well. I was at 223 this time last year & now im at 170.
Running is my healthy hobby & im proud of it.

I broke my leg in a work accident a couple years ago and have been working at home ever since. I still have some limitations on my right foot but I thought it was time to get back in shape. I've been running 5k five days a week. It was super hard and painful for my leg at first but now I'm on week 3 and I already noticed I've lost my gut. It's still pretty hard and takes a lot of will power to run the complete 3 miles but I feel great and don't plan on stopping. 🏃‍♂️

About toenails, I’ve been running since I was 13, I’ve never had this problem because I always get running shoes that are half or one size bigger.

I haven't exercised hardly at all in about 10 years. Hopped on a treadmill last week and am already up to 5 miles a day. When i did work out in college I got pretty ripped. Is this why running comes naturally for me??

3 days a week max. Run as much as you can in 30 min. Beyond these times the benefits vastly diminish. Trust me.

I ran 5km for around 45 days and ate 2 meals a day for first 14 days which was 100g rice and 200-300meat and saturday was cheat day so i ate 300grice and 400-500g meat then sunday 50g rice and 150-200g meat, my breakfast was barely 200cals and veggies i only ate once a week on thursday and also no meat on thursday but otherwise i ate only meat and rice and i lost around 7kg, then after that i started to eat only one meal a day which is lunch and nothing else and go for my usual 5km run at 4:20am and till now after 45 days i have lost a total of 12kg (from 97 to 85)and my age is 17yrs old, my goal is to go till 69-75kg. Ik all of u will say this is yoyo dieting and all and i agree but i dont feel hungry at all and iam very energized and can go on like this. Also ik most of u wont believe what iam saying and think iam crazy but i really did it. I also dont do any weight training, only running.

Started running since january 1st 2024, lost 10 kg weight, since august 8 km per day in 45 mins at pace of 5'37" per km.

When the toenail comes off it actually feels better than when it’s on the verge of coming off imo.

I was running 5k 4 to 5 times a week and started running longer distance on weekends until my heal started throbbing. I’ve taking a long break from running and switched to bike riding while it heals but still struggle with pain. I miss running so much and plan on seeing a podiatrist soon!
