Very informative! Leg cramps run in my family. My podiatrist recommended 800 mg magnesium daily which worked very well. When my cardiologist told me to stop taking it I halved the dosage to 400 mg daily the halved it again to 400 mg every other day. The cramps began to return. When I informed my cardiologist of this he relented and told me that I could resume the supplement. I now use 400 mg per day and have been free from night time leg cramps ever since.

Last month I got severe cramps on the INNER AND OUTER SIDES of BOTH LEGS at the same time. This is unusual. The pain was excruciating. I had not seen this video then. Now I will be better prepared. Thank you.

Trochę serca i mówić do człowieka i być z nim i tu w tym wirtualnym świecie klikam i mam lekarza Doktora który chce mi pomóc bo ja nie mam wiedzy i pytam dlaczego boli a lekarz nic nie mówi tylko miesiącami trzeba czekać na badania aby coś doradzić i podpowiedzieć jak pomóc sobie. Thank you Dr. Andrea for making this video. From time to time I got muscle cramps. I soak my feet in a bucket with hot water and pour hot water in my leg after few minutes the cramps or tightening of my muscles were relieved. I will try the exercise that you demonstrated if I get cramps again but I hope will never happen again.

I have had muscle cramps in my legs since I was a teenager and off and on in my adult years. A few years ago my doctor found out my B-12 was low and magnesium also. I always had little muscle twitches and these meds have helped alot. I still have some leg cramps but not as bad as before. Someone also told me about drinking pickle juice. I thought it was an old wives tale. I might try it. Glad I watched this video!
