One of the best pieces of advice I heard from an addiction therapist are: "Relapse is a part of recovery" and "No one lost a fight because they fell down. They lost the fight because they stayed down." Also, I used to spend my work breaks doing laps around the building. Seven laps was a mile and most days, I was able to complete all seven. Doing that 5 days a week was a huge help for me when I had lost weight several years ago.

I agree with seeing a doctor. Ever since I started seeing someone beginning of last year, I’ve been preaching it! Changes everyyyything! I stopped dieting, threw my scale away, my uniform is tight as heck- but I’m not upset, cuz I’m so much happier with life and my body (I mean.. eating chips and ice cream without feeling sorry for myself? Ya! That’s a great feeling) .. my mindset totally changed since seeing a doctor. You seem like such a sweet person ❤️ excited to follow you on your journey ☺️

I've fallen off the diet wagon so many times. I've slowly been gaining weight over the last 10 years and I can never stick to anything. So this year I'm changing my mindset. I'm no longer focusing on a number on the scale. My goal is simply to live a healthier lifestyle and make healthy choices. I think focusing on that instead of a number on a scale will help....at least I hope it does. I always used to be so discouraged when I wasn't reaching that number as quickly as I thought I should. We're in this together! 💪🏻
