I'm definitely burnt out, the most simple task take so long to do, I don't care about myself and don't feel like even getting out of bed but I'm force to fake being okay when I'm not, I'm on new medication and it's not working or my depression is far to gone now, not having anyone to talk to makes it worse, I've cut family and people out of my life who are so toxic but that hasn't helped either.

I isolate myself because I can't handle people anymore. I can barely handle myself and what's going on in my life.
As far as self care, I purposely try very hard to always do it to some degree. I know that if I stop that then I've given up everything. I can't always change the circumstances I'm going through that are causing my burn out. But I CAN always choose to take care of myself every day in at least a small way. Self care helps keep me on track, focused on positivity and feeling good about myself. Which in time will help motivate me to do bigger things.
Self care is like a piece of drift wood I hold onto when I'm out in the ocean drowning in life's circumstances. It's not big, it won't get me out of the water. But it's a little something I can hold onto to at least keep my head a bit above water till my circumstances change and I can finally get out of the ocean

Hi Julie,
My name is Olivia and I’m 13 years old.
Last summer I was diagnosed with depression anxiety and panic disorder.
This video I can definitely relate to because I noticed that I go through all the things in the video but for me the worst one is sleep.
I would go to see a therapist but I’m too scared to ask my parents as I’m afraid of them but there are people who I trust, but I can’t contact them because my parents took my phone away from me. I ha e also been self harming and I’ve had suicidal thoughts they keep coming and going. It’s getting really annoying and stressful but I just get on with it. I do have a couple of video ideas which are more mindfulness because it really helps me before bed and in the morning and the other one is how to get over your fear because my fear is a balloon and I can’t go near them or look at a picture of them. I have also brought your book and I’m on chapter 6 and I’m in love with it. It’s really detailed and you have put so much effort in it. I wish I could meet you one day but I don’t think we can. Thank you for all you do, keep up the good work.

Hmm I've been feeling these quite often lately, especially 2 and 4. I've found that my favourite hobby, creative writing, puts me off and I don't feel like doing... anything really 🙁
