How to search a file type in windows 10

In this quick video, I will show you how to search for a particular file extension on Windows 10. For example, you might want to find all PowerPoint files in the folder and sub folders where you search. You could use this method to find any files types such as word, text, png, etc.

When I do this in Windows 10 it works with .txt, .pdf, and .rtf but with ext:.jpg it says there are no files but there are many .jpg files on my computer. What am I doing wrong?
