I have an issue where the recent search history is not showing. I used to be able to select a recently searched item in the "open" dialog box of VideoRedo program and it doesn't;t work anymore. Tried everything and no good still

I seemed to have solved my file explorer options by method 2, but for me "launch folder windows in a separate process" was already checked. What I did was restore defaults and it unchecked and checked a few different options back to default. Then I selected "show hidden files, folders, and drives" and it seems to have fixed my issue. I will most likely update if all of my issues with file explorer are still fixed within the next few weeks. Feel free to reply here to see if it's still working for me.
