i bought new case yesterday..was working but AFTER 2 DAYS NOT SHOWING? LIGHT IS ON...BUT NOT SHOWING CONNECTED AND IF GETS CONNECTED MY DRIVES IS NOT OPENING UNREADABLE?

My computer hang while the external hard disk is running I immediately remove it .When I plugged it again it can't detect it anymore 😢 what should i do

Sometimes it's the laptop's fault. It might don't support it.

Just like my HP mini 110-3100, I tried to plug in my iPhone to sideload but it rejects it since the laptop blocks any device that aren't compatible or not banned by the manufacturer

I tried unplugging it while running and added again and then opened new disk management 😂

I'm having same problem bcoz i think its 3.5 hdd need power connector

there is a capacitor on the board which gets weak or shot
it needs to be replaced for hdd to detect again
though I was able to revive an undetectable hdd by
brunch os installation
it simply formatted the drive & it showed again
Now after 3years of brutal use its doing the same thing

Mine dose the same, but when i connect the hdd to a new pc/laptop it worrks of one time again for some hours then it Stop detecting like before i don't know what to do

i have an external case of 2.5 hdd and the disc is 2.5 ssd and idk the problem. con you help please?

Try going to the partition menu

Just go to disk management
Assign a letter to the drive

Try to run crystal disk health check
Ur hdd might be failing or dying
Or try it on diff laptop if still not recognised..u need do a suface scan of disk for bad sectors on hdd.
Mostly ur hdd is dying
