your video was straight to the point and way better to understand unlike the other ones ive been watching but unfortunately it did not work for me i was able to follow along to see if i was selecting the correct one on the bottom but it wasnt showing even on the top where you could select the correct one and rename it

The key for my ext USB HDD was simply assigning a drive letter...somewhere my OS "forgot" it. Sometimes we get so bogged down in our thinking that we forget to go back and check the basic foundationals...thank you for the reminder!
