Healing After Divorce, Moving On, Remarried But Still Healing?

I really wanted to talk about the healing process after a divorce or breakup. Moving on with life can hard when you've experienced a traumatic breakup, abusive relationship or marriage.

Healing is available and it's a process that requires humility.

Hi, I’m 22 years old .. married at 18, had my daughter at 19, had my son at 21.. I’ve been married to my husband for 3 years and felt like it was the wrong decision because of a lot of red flags I overlooked. So true. I believe I am healing and going through this in my new relationship, which he feels he's paying for my exes mistakes. Mercy!! I thought being off the market 3 years before getting to know him, I was completely healed. Its definitely a process.

Yess! I can relate as well! Not divorced yet but still get emotional sometimes even though I truly do not love him anymore. I care but definitely not love.Yes I'm healing more and more each day praise be to God!

Thank you for sharing this video! My goodness, this hits home. Just divorced early this year. God showed me my marriage wasn't ordained by Him. Sheesh, guess I ignored red flags. Beautiful Lady, sounds like you are saved. Know that God is always with you. We do our best in the experiences we have with our knowledge at the time. Don't allow your present to be robbed by your past. Christian marriage counseling is a great tool for marriage because we all are imperfect people and no one person has all the answers. Thanks sister for this video.I thought I heard from God abt my future partner.So I was thinking that he is the one for 2yrs and I just came to realise that he isnt.It crushes me and I am so distraught abt hearing frm God, makes me doubt what kind of person I hv been, try to forgive and want to bless my friend whom I thought he is the one.God has been healing me.Just the pain and jealousy is soo weird.Pray for me

This video could have not come at a better time for me...I appreciate that your rawness and realness on how you entered your new marriage and even had a baby and still wasn’t healed..their is no time with the process because things change through the navigation but I’ve always been a loner and sometimes I feel like I rather just be alone and not be In my relationship because of that healing process and I tend to push away people that love me...but you just enlighten me to understand that you can work through being in a relationship and still not be heal but work through it and if anything with God as your guide and your partner bringing out the best in you... you can become more motivated with the process...for me in the past I didn’t understand that healing didn’t mean weak. I thought it did! Not understanding that “weakness” Ignites knowledge because the stupidest question you can ask is the one you don’t! My ex wife divorced me in 2016. I ran to God (best decision ever!!). I met the beautiful woman I would be remarried to in 2019. 2020 I remarried l, it’s 2024 and I’m still dealing with residue of my divorce. Residue is real and the scars of divorce are deep!!! If you’re thinking about divorce plz think twice. Husbands fight for your marriage with every breath in your body. Follow Jesus thru it all and get and stay in therapy!!!
