It took a little over a year to hit the YPP requirements at the end of May 2024. Once that particular torture was over, it took about 1 1/2 months to hit the $1000 mark. July was less than June, but issues with my computer forced me to take a 2-week "vacation" from video creation.

From the last week of May to the end of July, I've made slightly over $1400, which is slightly over $1400 more than this disabled guy WOULD have made in that time frame.

My point is that if *I* can make money on YouTube, ANYONE can.

Don't give up. Refine your work. Don't give up. Make each video better than the last one. Don't give up. Keep pushing towards that goal. You CAN do this. But most importantly, DON'T. GIVE. UP.

I'm very grateful for YouTube. I got monetized after 3 months on YouTube and made over $1k in my 1st month after being monetized, and it was a partial month of views. Still pushing hard to make the best videos I can. I have 1 camera, a cellphone and a mic. 2 more months later, still growing. My 1st ever channel. No editing background.

I started on the 1st of the year. I've now posted over 700 videos/shorts/lives on my channel. Over 1500 subscribers. Yet, my watch time is extremely low. Therefore, I haven't been able to get my channel monetized or even unlock the 500 subscribers benefits. I also have been posting every day. Sometimes once a day. Others multiple times a day. Idk when I'll get there, but I'm NEVER GIVING UP!

To get to 1000 subs, it took me 8 months a 2 days. I already had the watch time 6 months in though. Once my adsense was active, it took me 2 months to make my first 1k through that, but I was already making money through Amazon affiliates well before that, so when I got monetized, I had already crossed that $1000 barrier through that.

So I have 490 subscribers right now and I'm posting daily, getting around like 5 or so subs per day depending on how well the video does. If it does really REALLY good, I get like, 60+ subs from just one video. Then on another, probably only 60 or so views. Youtube is weird, lol.

I have a channel that got monetized on July 3. Analytics say I’ve made a little over $2100 since then with almost 50k subs, but haven’t actually seen a dime yet. I been monitized 6 months ago, and my channel is now 1 years old... and I barely made $100 this week through ads, skip ads but no sponsorship yet... 🤞...
