So next time your stomach growls and you say "I'm starving" maybe you should consider what starving actually means. The longer you go without food the less tempting it is to eat it, the first day is the hardest but once you pass the 2 day without eating its actually a lot easier then people think. I’ve almost gone 3 days without eating until someone forced me to eat something when they saw how pale I was getting
(I am not a pale person & have a tan complexion).
I have gotten help since then & have been doing much better. I know this video isn’t about Eating Disorders in directly, but they aren’t fun and can ruin your relationships with people without you even realizing it. I was lucky to be one of the few who recovered rather quickly then most for how deep I was in. I had definitely gotten to the tip of the 2ed stage, I felt sharp pains on my sides & my doctor told me it was most likely due to my liver overworking it’s self. It’s a weird sensation to turn your body and feel your ribs move against your skin, when I looked in the mirror I saw bones that I didn’t even know I had. After I started to feel these pains in my side that’s when I had enough and finally got help for real. Anyone reading this who has/has history of an eating disorder, just know you are definitely one of the strongest people in this world to be battling with your mind consistently of everyday, even if you are recovered.

I went a whole day without food, it might not sound like a long time, (because it isn't) I was a 9yr old. I was mad at my parents and told them I'd never eat again. My pride wouldn't let me eat, but soon my hunger took over. Morale of the story, don't say dumb statements and actually try to fulfill them.

I knew a friend that went 8 days without eating ( he was planning for 21 but got sick so he stopped) he told me the first 2 days were the hardest but after that you just got used to it and it doesn't bother you
