He explains what happens when you give your body a break from digesting food and just allow it to be in its natural state. Lastly, he reminds you that this process is all about progress and not perfection. Use the first time as you fast, as a learning experience even if you can’t make it 18 or 24 hours – that’s okay! This is a very valuable process to go through so don’t be too hard on yourself.

Tried fasting all day today and was surprised that it was not difficult. I was expecting to be super hungry, but I wasn't... Kept drinking water and herbal tea and it worked ok.

I’d started doing the one meal a day for one week and already lost 4.5 lbs. I’m currently doing the 36-48 hours fast. The mental clarity is insane and I found myself a lot calmer. Hopefully this will reset my metabolic rate and 20 lbs goal will be achieved.

I'm a 13 year old, I'm 198 pounds 😩 I need to change! I'm starting a 24 hour fasting right now! I just got done eating dinner and I told my mom but she doesn't Believe in me. I will prove to her! I will do this! I will let u know how it went when my 24 hour fasting is over! I don't have a weight scale so that might be a little hard but lets do this! Who's in this with me!!? I'm going on vacation in a week so I hope to lose 5 pounds

My secret is to fast on the weekend so you can sleep in as late as possible and you have to only resist not eating for a few hours

This is why whenever I do a water fast, I lock myself in my room and bring tons of water with me and stay there until my fasting is complete. The bathroom is right next to me so it's very easy to get to without going downstairs to the kitchen

from 5pm to 5pm the next day makes it simpler... It´s amazing how much time you spend in food related activities, I do it once a month

i fasted for 1-3 days a week for like 3 months and lost 33 pounds, and my acne also all went away 😁
lmao if anyone wants some extra tips:
*drink a zero calorie vitamin water in the morning, while your fasting you still need to get plenty of vitamins!
*drink a decaffeinated herbal tea around dinner time/ before bed
*drink your water!! it's super important, and i know that drinking a lot of water on an empty stomach can be somewhat painful and hard, but drink tons of it!
*if you feel tightness in your chest (or feel like your going to have a heart attack or something) add a little bit of pink Himalayan salt to some water and drink it. (non iodized sea salt works too) it won't mess up your fast, but it will help your heart and stuff (this is for like if your fasting for days tho)

This was my first full day 24 hour fast. :) I did it and feel pretty proud of myself because I've been over weight basically 99% of my life. Lol

Thanks so much man, im 16 and have been overweight almost all my life and have finally started losing it in the past year or two, yesterday i said to my self i will lose all of this weight, no more belly fat, no more any of it, i said by the time i get to school ill be ripped lol, but thank you
