Dr. Liu is the co-founder of NACPro+, dedicated to optimizing immunity and wellness.
Dr. Liu graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1998 and is Double Boarded in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. She is licensed in the state of California.
This channel is separate from Dr. Liu’s duties as Attending Medical Staff @ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and as Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. The views on this channel are her own.

Fun fact: In Taiwan, we can get roasted sesame paste at our outdoor markets. You literally stand there while a person grinds fresh roasted sesame seeds. This roasted tahini paste tastes amazing in hummus!

the avocada banana trick is to use UNRIPENED banana so as the banana ripens so does the avocado. using a banana that is already ripe has way less ethelene

I love how you show respect to doctors by telling to take our questions to them. From my many years of experience the doctors that have come out of medical school over the past 25+yrs are not intelligent enough to discuss this. Total waste of time. Doing anything naturally totally goes against the brainwashing they obviously received in medical school. We do so much better watching people like you who offer factual informative information. My doctor, and most I’d believe, wouldn’t know what to do with that list of foods I eat or not eat. When I told my doctor I eat a vegan whole food plant based diet all she could say was ‘where do I get my protein’… and I commented ‘from the plants’….

This list I literally eat daily, which made me happy. My only concern is that peanut butter has some saturated fat, but I eat it daily anyways, so hopefully not a problem. I'm glad I found your channel! And yes, I totally agree that social media pushes the keto/high fat/no carb as healthy, like I am skinny over here with makeup on...but what is their true health? Not good. People only notice outward appearance. Also enjoyed the history of diets. 👍

The avocados in Hawaii are called SHARWIL we lived on the big island of Hawaii and experienced eating these wonderful avocados.
They are the best.
