Should you walk or run under the rain?

This has been a question that has been bouncing around in my head for awhile now. So I simulated the situation in the Godot game engine.

It’s simpler than that, when you look at relative motion. Running against the wind will make it relatively fall straight down reducing the surface area of contact with fresh falling drops, the faster you run, you start out running the rain where it’s falling behind you not all on you vertically. You will always collide with the drops in the air in front of you.

but it also matters how big the charecter is, if you're really thin it might be better to walk because almost no drops will hit you from above
