How to Become an Adult

Need to know how to become an adult? Understanding the complexities of adulthood is not a one-track solution, but rather requires a good and applicable foundation of wisdom, skill, and faith. Many ill-equipped young adults find themselves drowning in the struggles of identity and responsibility even when the lifeboat is right next to them.

After receiving a plethora of advice from my Inner Circle, I break down their wisdom into five categories–your person, your pockets, your people, your partner, and your purpose–and give you practical skills and resources for each that will save you from singing the blues later in your life. As a bonus, I also break down identity in adulthood and how to build up your faith in the storms of your life.

Take notes and feel encouraged as I prepare you for prosperity in your adulthood!

I’m in my 30’s and feel lost in multiple areas of my life. You reassured me that at this stage, I’m right where I should be. Thank you!

I’m 37. Transitioning adult child to adult hood. This video was so beautiful, helpful and moving. I really appreciate you putting content like this out there for the many of us who do exist, who don’t know how, and who struggle. I also shared this with my 16 year old daughter. It’s a privilege and an honor to see how far more advanced she is with “lifing” than I was at her age and still am. Keep doin what you’re doin! I’m sure you know it’s very needed in our communities🫶🏼🙏🏼

I am grateful for this broadcast - what touched me most is the 20-30-50 Rule after taking off the Tithe. I came to America as an International Student and didn’t really think about retirement until recently. This video is very informative for me and it will hopefully guide my undergraduate children to do better.
Thank you for sharing.

I so wish that I had a mentor like you when I was in my 20’s. The “saving for then, for things I need now” listen, that slapped me right across my face. No one told me any of these things in my 20’s. I hope the young adults are taking heed!

Thanks Chrystal, i wish someone would have told me most of the things you shared earlier. I recently turned 40 and am trying to acquire knowledge through reading books and listening to podcasts, i feel like I am behind time but God knows. One of the books I am currently reading is Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.

Listen to someone that has been where you are going. You may not do it exactly the way someone else does but you can avoid some mistakes if you listen.

Such a timely message. Thank you. What stuck with me the most was the rocket analogy. I'm just taking off and, it's going to be shaky and noisy. Thank you!

thank you so much for this . Young adults like me value people like you who are open to pouring! Hope God continues to gives you the strength to keep going as well.

Praising God my beautiful Chrystal. This message has so much wisdom imparted here in a clear and concise way. Keep doing what you are doing. You are so needed for such a time as this for all ages. You are truly anointed. My take away was the importance of proper use of your finances at any age. The 10% off the top I’ve faithfully done all my Christian life and retirement planning. I haven’t been consistent with the 20% savings n paying myself. I’m a giver so I neglect to pay me. Thanks for that wisdom key.

Thank you, this was necessary for me and I am older, sometimes some people didn’t get this in their 20s or 30s. This was beautiful.

This was amazing! Soo on time because I have been intentionally seeking God to have the words to help guide my son as he’s going out on his own. He’s fresh out of college and trying to figure life out on his own. He’s had a spiritual foundation set from living with me, but being on his own, he has become lax in maintaining that spiritual foundation that was set for him. I don’t want to press him but I’ve been encouraging him spiritually and physically and just trying to help guide him in general. So this was spot on and I have sent it to him to watch. Thanks for sharing! I received the email which is what brought me here.
