Considering that Ingo is from modern-ish Poké-USA, and PLA basically takes place ~1870 Hokkaido~. He has every reason to slouch. Not only have humans been getting taller over time, but typically Japanese people are shorter than westerners. Man must be freakishly tall by comparison.
