How to Deal with Grief? How to Cope with Grief and Loss after the Loss of A Loved One? How to Cope with the Death of a Loved one?

I have been a grief counselor for 10+ years and I will offer Grief Counseling Tips and Grief Counseling Techniques I use to HELP grieving people through the Grieving Process. How can you help a grieving Friend? How can Grief Counselors Help? What Coping Strategies Can you use for Grief And Loss? What can you say to a Grieving Friend? This video is for friends and also mental health professionals such as therapists or Counselors who want to learn more about Bereavement Counseling and Grief Therapy.

I have been an LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist) in the State of California for almost a decade.
This channel is about Mental Health Awareness and Personal Growth.
Should you be in Therapy counseling? I believe counseling is for everybody and most people can benefit from learning
more about themselves with the support of a Therapist. Therapy is an opportunity for growth, change and healing, whether
you are diagnosed with a clincial "disorder", or you simply want to expore ways to feel better and have healthier relationships.

NOTE: This channel is not a substitute for treatment. If you or someone you know needs counseling, please call your MD
and reach out for support, and call 911 if there is a psychiatric emergency. I cannot respond to a mental health crisis via youtube.
This channel is for education, not psychotherapy. I am a licensed therapist, but I am not YOUR therapist, please find a local professional for help in your area.

Please share more on teen grief if possible and help out this school psychologist. I’m currently supporting a student who lost both parents in a horrific car accident. It’s tough. My heart breaks for them.

I loved this. 52 year old male that just lost my mom yesterday at 75 yrs young to breast cancer. My heart is heavy but leaning on my wife my rock and family to help push thru this without the need for drugs, herbs, alcohol etc. You ARE awesome and a gift to those looking for help.

I'm so grateful for you Quenby and appreciate these videos that you've put out for us who need it.
My mom passed yesterday evening unexpectedly. It was necessary to cut ties with her about 7 years ago(traumatic childhood) but she was still my mom and I loved her. I was desperately hoping for resolution at some point. I don't even know what to do with how I'm feeling right now. I couldn't sleep so I hopped on YouTube and came here first to pick your brain. I appreciate your expert tips. I will be searching for a group to attend after the funeral is all done 💛

Hi Quenby,
Great video a big topic to cover. And there definitely is a process and different stages of grief. I lost my mom when I was 17, And it has affected many aspects of my life ever since and im 54 now. But all these points you made are helpful and a great starting point if you are grieving. Thanks for taking on and tackling this huge issue!! Thanks so much... !

I saw a grief counsellor and all it did was made matters even worse. The denial and bargaining phases of grief never happened. Acceptance happened on the day my wife died. Anger and depression have been constant for the whole of the last eleven years. Group support was even worse than one to one counselling and nearly destroyed me. I now minimise contact with family and friends as this minimises the pain. The day I die will be the day my pain ends.

Thank you Quenby for this video and your other videos on Grief. With losing my Dad just a little over a week ago, I really needed to watch this. I Also, lost My Mom, Mother-in-law, and my sister when I was 25 within the same year. I have experienced a lot of loss with loved ones and each loss has been different. I saw a professional when I was 25 and it really helped ❤️
