I am touching briefly on the pendlay row form. This movement is a barbell row progression exercise, where we pull from the floor like a deadlift. This requires maximal core bracing to ensure you can lift the weight off the ground. The core braces your arms that pull the weight, with the feet that connect to the ground. This creates a large demand on your core musculature, which can cause injury if not careful.
This is an advanced exercise, I would recommend meeting with a certified personal trainer if you wanted to learn this exercise.

My biggest tip for those new to these: envision your lats and upper back doing most of the work; it's very easy to get tennis elbow from these if you don't.

Hey, is a little leg movement during the start of the movement alright. For some reason overtime I started to initiate the lift with my legs a little bit especially when I work towards my 1rm.

I do this exercise instead of the regular row..the regular row makes makes my lower back hurts and I can't lift so much weight

I thought you supposed to pull to your upper abs/sternum? This looks like you’re pulling to the middle of your abs
