As a dancer I’ve always been told that my flexibility was what has been holding me back. I really paid no attention to it at first. I would just go to dance without stretching, or I would stretch for a day, then just leave it at that..until I got introduced to a new studio. All the other girls had splits and amazing flexibility except for me, and I was so frustrated about that. So I decided that it was time to actually step up and find a good stretching routine I could work with. I’ve always watched Anna for her stretching videos and flexibility challenges, but never followed through because I was afraid I wasn’t going to be too consistent. I decided it was time to step up and try after a lot of encouragement from myself and dance instructors. A month later, I’m practically on the ground on my right split since starting this routine and so close to my left split! I felt so happy knowing that when I put my mind to something, I can eventually do it, and I plan on working even harder to do oversplits, leaps, and crazy flexibility tricks just like Anna! I feel like everyone is looking for that one comment stating how they got their splits in 1-2 weeks, but keep in mind that it’s about consistency and determination. You can skip some days to let your muscles rest, and it’s okay if it took you longer than planned. You can find ways to make stretching fun, I did mine with some dance friends, watched videos while stretching, and more! Don’t give up tho! I promise you got this!

I love how Anna does not expect you to already know some things like a split. A lot of other you tubers expect you to have a middle split already! Anna includes everyone at every level! Which is awesome!

Things I wanna learn to do : Split + Middle Split, Leg hold, Leap, Get more flexible in my right leg .

Day 1-4 : Im already kinda flexible with my left leg, but not too much in my right, I can kinda do a split when my left leg is in the front, but when I do a split when my right leg is in the front, its horrible .
I can kinda hold my leg up, but only half way and if I do it for too long my leg starts to hurt . My right leg is getting more flexible, slowly tho lol .

Day 4-8 : Im getting very flexible in my left leg, my split is getting better everyday !
My right leg is also getting very flexible, and I can sort of do a split when my right leg is in font .
My middle split is also getting straighter, and better. I believe in about 1 or 2 weeks, I will have all my splits down .

~ Update this in 4 days ! ~ (I wont forget this time lol .)

{Nov 5th} Day 8-12 : Idk if this is exactly 4 days later, but ive been getting close and closer to having a full split with my right leg in front, and my left leg in front . My middle split is also coming along :). I used to use about 3-4 pillows when I did a split with my right leg in front, but now I am only using 1 pillow ! My leap is also getting better and better, and my leg hold is *amazing!* Tho it still hurts a little when I do my splits, im still getting better and the pain is going away the more I get used to it.

{Nov 9th} Day 12-16 : My splits are getting so much better! Im honestly surprised, I am also learning to do a scorpion and that is going very well, I can kind of hold it up, but then my leg starts to hurt so I put it down, I also cant keep my balance too well . My leap is decent, it needs some work tho! Im getting deeper and deeper into my middle split, im almost there . And my leg hold has gotten better, and its getting straighter .

{Nov 13th} Day 16-20 : My splits with my left leg in front is *complete!*, and my split with my right leg in front is getting SOO close to going all the way down ! Im honestly so happy and surprised that this stretch is working so well . It definitely took a little time but I am so happy it finally came along ! My middle split is getting deeper too, and my scorpion is getting amazing, I just need to work on arm strength so I can hold it up for a long time . My leg hold is *amazing!* and my leap is great . If you guys know any tips on how to improve my scorpion, could you let me know?

{Nov 17th - *last update* -} Day 20-24 : Both of my splits are basically complete! My leg hold is almost perfect, and my leap is amazing! My scorpion is good, and my middle split is decent! I am very grateful for this Stretch routine it has helped me become more flexible! Thank you to everyone who has stayed with me for these 24 days! Have a great night everyone. :) <3

Current progress
Day 1:hurt like hell and almost couldn't do some of the exercises
Day 2:hurts less and some change
Day 3:some exercises don't even hurt
Day 4: I can almost do the splits!
Day 5: I moved on to some of the advanced stretches
Day 6: same like day 5
Day 7:suprisingly the stretches have become really easy
Day 8:can do the splits! Moved on to some of the advanced exercises

doing this for 10 days!

day one: ✅ did it twice
day two: ✅ did it once bc i was pretty sore today!!
day three: ✅ did it one! again, was sore today:( but i have gained some flexibility in my bad leg:) !!
day four: ✅ doing it now! legs are a tiny bit sore still but they are adjusting! this is such a helpful routine! btw i am following other videos and doing other stretches, not only this:)
day 5: ✅ did it as well as so many more other stretches! getting much more flexible
day 6: ✅ got my splits perfectly on my left leg! i can even reach all the way down my front leg in the split. my right leg got super close today. thanks so much:)!! im trying out for either topgun or cheer extreme next season and i really needed to gain more flexibility since I’m a flyer.
day 7: ✅! my right split literally touched the ground. omg and my left is already at the ground. I got my split in 6-7 days this is unreal:O thanks so much anna!
day 8: ✅ did this and some other stretches! i am seeing very faint results:)!! my splits hurt so so I hope they can get better
day nine: ✅ results are now showing much more!!!! did this with much more ease :) splits do hurt lots but they are both pretty much at the floor!
day 10: ✅!!! finally day 10:) almost done with the challenge but I’m not gonna stop I’m still gonna do it cause it works:) today wasn’t the best. I was extremely sore, and didn’t do my very best with the stretches.
day 11: ✅+🚫?? i did. only 4 mins today because im on my period and im at my moms house so i have no room and my whole family lives her:( I tried doing it outside but everyone was looking at me and I got embarrassed
day 12- ✅!! my legs were not even too sore today! did the full video:) legs are getting so flexible
day 13- ✅! wasn’t as good today:) my air track arrived tho:)
day 14- ✅! finished today and finished the whole challenge!! here are my results: i got my split on my left leg, i can do my split on my right leg when i realy push myself, my leg hold is much higher and i realized that my right leg doesn’t hurt as much when I lift it then it would used to. Wonderful results :0 I’m gonna continue using this and I’ll even update!!
day 15: 🚫✅? my period was so bad today so I did only a bit !!
day 16: ✅- done! did it with my friend, was really fun :)
day 17- ✅!!! was really fun and omg the results are INSANE. when doing the hamstring stretch i can go all the way down and touch my toes and put my head through my legs. also when i do my pike stretch and i reach down to my toes i can reach all the way:0!! also my splits barely hurt and my left leg can go all the way down and my right one is extremely close like literally. i cannot stress this enough, this is the best stretch routine I’ve ever used.
day 18: ✅! done :D same as yesterday, my flexibility has improved insanely.
day 19: 🚫 not much to say other then i had no time today;( but i did some stretches and noticed such a difference.
day 20: ✅! WENT FULLY DOWN ON BOTH SPLITS WITHOUT MUCH PROBLEMS OMG?!!
day 21: ✅!! DONE, today was a really great stretch day and it really calmed me down. ( btw i am still seeing so much results Like my splits are all the way down, i can do a pike and touch the heels of my feet while having my head at my knees, i can reach all the way down to my legs. Honesty there is much more but these are some of the very major things I have noticed that has helped me for splits, leg holds and my scorpion. Thank u Anna!!!
Day 22: 🚫 didn’t do it because im at my moms and i probs wont be able to do it TMMR:(!
day 23: ✅!! managed to do today:)! wonder full results:)
day 24: ✅ OH MY GOSH I CAN DO MY SPLITS ON MY LEFT LEG WITH NO PAIN AND MY FULL SPLIT ON MY RIGHT WITH VERY LITTLE TO NO PAIN. THSI IS INSANE. THIS DAY I GOT THE BEST RESULTS
day 25: ✅ the stretches are starting to get Insaey easy and im at anna’s level for pretty much every stretch!!!
day 26: ✅ the stretches were easy but the splits were a bit challenging today.
day 27: ✅ routine was a bit challenging today. :(
day 28:🚫 was so sore today!! did do some stretching tho. will do much stretching TMMR tho :)
day 29: ✅ was still sore but did it anyways! i hurt my heel really bad yesterday so i was able to do the fullest of my ability on some stretches
day 30!!!!: ✅!! today I did with my mom and it was really sore but it was still easy. doing many other stretches
day 31: 🚫ughh was sore and tired today but I did do other stretches like my splits and backbends
day 32: ✅ i was unbelievably sore but managed to do it :)! although didn’t go fully down on my right leg split
day 33: ✅! went full down on both splits even though I’m extremely sore still
day 34:✅! had cheer camp yesterday and im soooo sorrreeee so i didnt go fully down on my right leg split but I did get close. I’m gonna hold my splits for around 30 seconds rn to get a deeper stretch
day 35: ✅! done:) went down on both splits, really stretched. my legs weren’t as sore as they have been for the past days so that’s always good! i have cheer camp and a flying PRIV today so this was rlly helpful!:)
day 36: ✅!! did this with MANY other stretches. wasn’t sore today even after cheer camp yesterday. went down on both splits! good day
day 37: ✅doneee!!! btw if ur wondering my results by now i have both my splits with 0 pain and can do my left over split with 0 pain. i also have a really good bow and arrow on my left and a really good heel stretch on my right. thanks Anna:)!
day 38: ✅ OMG almost day 40:o! Honestly i have gotten so unbelievably flexible like i can do my over splits and regular splits with absolutely no pain and this stretch routine is like a warmup now because of how easy it’s gotten. Thank you so much Anna u literally have been saving my life
day 39: ❌ didn’t do it but omg i was still so flexible and i still did my splits
Day 40: ✅! done and I did it with my friend :)
Day 41: ✅ not much to say :)
day 42: ✅! extremly flexible. got my over split on my right leg and left leg :)
day 43: ✅!
day 44: ✅! OMFG BRO I DID BOTH MY LEGS SPLITS PERFECTLY WITH ABSOLUTE NO PAIN OR ANY FELL OF STRETCH. I ALSO HELD MY OVER SPLITS FOR 20 SECONDS EACH. i also did my BACKHANDSPRING and back tuck today on the trampoline :)! this stretch routine is so easy i feel literally NO pain.
day 45: ✅! DID IT WITH MY FRIENDSSS and bro my splits don’t hurt like at all anymore this is insanely good
day 46: ❌ sorry:(!!! was so sore
day 47: ❌ i injured my foot and was so sore so I decided not to do it :(
day 48: ✅ did it and got both my splits to the floor! didn’t loose any flexibility :)
day 49: ✅ omg so flexible aaaa i did both my splits and im at Anna’s level for all the stretches, yayataatatatat
day 50: !! ✅ OMG😧 DAY 50!! was sore today but did my splits on both legs and did all stretches with ease. i have become so unbelievably flexible like im looking at my flexibility 50 days ago and i WASNT flexible at all and now im super duper flexible. TYSM Anna THSI routine is legit the best
day 51: ✅!! Did both my splits and all the stretches were so easy even tho im a bit sore;)!!
day 52: 🚫 i did do my splits but I didn’t do the whole routine because I popped a blood vessel in my neck and it hurt when i reached down and stretched so i jsut did stuff Not including going down!
day 53: ✅ did both my splits with ease and all the stretches were incredibly easy and my legs are extremly flexible now
day 54: 🚫 OMG I FEEL SO GUILY…. I DID MY SPLITS but i had Camp all day and jm so tired so I didn’t do it but I did do my splits

day 85: 🚫 ok tbh ik I’ve been procrastinating but it’s because I used to dedicate my whole life to stretching. although I still love stretching and still dedicate lots of my time to it, i haven’t been doing it as much because it just started feeling like a chore.

Ok but if anyone is wondering, I used to follow Anna McNulty's routine in 2020.. And no joke when I say I actually got flexible.. SHE LEGIT just keep grinding
