Imagine you're heading to the dock for a fun morning of fishing...

Your gear is all packed, rods are rigged up, and you can almost feel the tug of a big redfish on your line...

But when you get to the dock, you see your boat floating out in the middle of the water!

This often happens because people tie their boats up with the wrong knots, or were lazy and didn't correctly finish a knot.

If you want to make sure your boat never floats away from the dock, you have to know these two simple, yet effective knots…

They’re easy and take just a few short seconds to tie, but so many people don’t tie them correctly.

Knowing these knots could save you from taking a swim, or worse...

If you want to make sure your boat stays secure to the dock, watch this video.

Have any questions about tying up your boat?

First knot looks almost Identical to what some folks class as °Lark's Head° knot. Am I right ?

PLEASE explain how the "locking hitch should lay parallel to the underlying figure 8. Ever try to undo a dock line in a hurry that has multiple hitches in every which direction. I have to cut them half the time.
Thanks
