Clinch knot. Used in fishing with monofilament line but with at least 5 wraps.

Why not a clove hitch with 2 half hitches to prevent loosening if not in load ?

Why not just tie a bowline, easy to tie won't slip and easy to untie.

Just to help you get more views…. That is a boat/ dock bumper not a buoy like it says in your title….

I would make more loops and make it a permanent knot.

Fenders should be already prepped to be deployed before you even launch, so the scenario envisioned where you have to do it in a pinch is not even realistic.
