I've been taking Rybelsus since December 2023 and have been losing eight pounds per month. Rybelsus also suppresses appetite. I was 231 pounds overweight with hypertension, high cholesterol, and diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Since the end of November 2023 I've gotten a new doctor that cared enough to scare me into wanting to do something about my condition. Since then I cut out all carbs including sugar, starches, bread, rice, salad dressings and eat two times a day eating protein and live veggie salads with organic mother apple cider vinegar and extra virgin olive oil for a dressing. As of 4/19/24 I weigh 318 pounds with 173 pounds to go. Also I've signed up with health quest in which I can get free prescriptions and I'm thinking that I could get injectable ozempic along with the other prescriptions. In addition to this I'm doing partial fasting between those two meals to keep the keto process going as my body is producing the brain fuel I need without any brain fog whatsoever.

I was on Wegovy for 3 months and loss 35 lbs, but due to the low inventory I hasn’t been able to take it for 2 weeks and have noticed my increase in appetite and gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks.

I’ve been on Rybelsus, 7mg, for a 1-1/2 years, no side effects, I don’t take it every day either.
Type 2 for 20 years, diet, Metformin & exercise. But I couldn’t get the last 30lbs off so my doctor said try this. I no longer take statin’s, metformin & BP meds. Definitely brought me A1C down. Our waist size is a strong indicator of our insulin resistance. Also, the need to hydrate is so important!

My first video of yours. Loved the charts and your pace of speaking and information. The music is annoying and distracting. Not needed. Thanks for the great information.

I took the semiglutide Rybelsus. It made me feel sick all the time, gave me reflux and dry heaves. Without consulting my doctor I stopped taking it after 9 months. I do take metformin for diabetes type 2. I just got my A1c test result. My A1c number went down! plus I did not gain any weight. I feel so much better and glad I decided I am not going to live a life of drug induced reflux and dry heaves and who knows what else that semiglutide path had in store for me.

TLDR: Semaglutide is a medication that can be used for both diabetes and weight loss, but it has potential side effects and is most effective when combined with a balanced diet and lifestyle changes for long-term benefit.

00:00 💊 Semaglutide stimulates insulin release and makes you feel full, making it useful for diabetics and weight loss.
01:07 💡 Semaglutide can suppress appetite and aid in weight loss, but it has potential side effects like nausea, vomiting, and digestive system slowdown.
02:22 💊 Different brands of semaglutide have varying side effects, with weight loss brands having more than diabetes brands, and while there are currently 3 brands, a 4th is in the works with the same drug but different dosing.
03:38 💊 Semaglutide comes in different forms, with different approved uses and costs, and the recent interest in using it for weight loss has created supply shortages for diabetic patients.
04:58 💉 Injectable semaglutide is taken once a week, while the pill form requires daily dosing, with each having its own advantages and disadvantages, but both are effective for weight loss.
06:01 📌 Patients can expect around a 10-15% weight loss with semaglutide when combined with an ideal dietary and lifestyle plan, and implementing a stricter dietary plan can lead to even greater weight loss.
06:51 🥦 Follow a balanced diet with a variety of nutrients to support fat metabolism and weight loss, while also addressing emotional and stress eating with behavioral and lifestyle interventions.
07:34 📉 Semaglutide is a weight loss medication that is most effective when first used, but its appetite controlling effect wears off over time, so it's important to focus on improving dietary and lifestyle habits for long-term benefit.

My doctor prescribed mounjaro as an off-label for weight loss, however, my a1c shows I am not diabetic and my employer insurance will not cover the cost. I can either pay out of pocket or accept the new prescription from my doctor for a compounded ozempic pill. Do you know if anyone has had success with the ozempic compounded pill? Thanks for all of your videos!

Not sure if I missed this, but what makes one eligible? I am at the lowest range for ‘obese’ when looking at BMI. I feel like doctors don’t usually help patients like me, who are “skinny fat”

To achieve faster results, are there any drawbacks to following OMAD while taking Semaglutide? Or should one focus on just three meals a day, with strong calorie control for each meal instead? Thanks.
