Hey, so I bought some ram, crucial 16gb DDR4 3200, 1.2v, exact same one as the one I have, plug it in, and I get no signal, doesn’t work with my old one, by itself, or any combination, I updated my bios, everything, and it just won’t work even though it’s the same thing I already have

i have a pre built asus republic of gamers with 16gb ram

I am trying to upgrade my RAM after 3 years of owning but i cannot unclip the bottom of my RAM stick, only the top . the issue is it seems that both need to be unclipped to remove it .

Question tho I have an issue with my ram I can run the 2 8gb sticks parallel to one eachother but it won’t let me add into one of them the computer just beeps and shuts off

Thank you this helped me so much I kept putting my ram in but I was closing the ram lock by myself but I instead I had to push it in till it clicked
