Ram problem fixed only one stick worked at a time

if anybody else has had this problem this videos for you it worked with one stick separately at a time but I fixed it and this is how I did it

I had this problem years ago after enabling xmp, but it worked with 2 ram slots for like a whole year randomly, and now it’s doing it again so idk what to think, it doesn’t make sense really

i have same problem, cant get it to work in dual channel, but works now in single channel, which is causing loss of performance and other stuff..

for anyone reading this in 2024 try untightening the cpu cooler a bit

TYSM its my first time adding anything to my prebuilt pc and it took way longer than it should’ve for me to install 2 sticks of ram and it took over 30 different videos thank you for the absolute blessing of a video.

it is still single channel tho, but at least both ram is showing.

I just ran into this problem today when updating thr bios on my aorus b650 elite ax. Looks like ill be avoiding gigabyte from now on

This doesn't fix anything this is just in Single Channel, you need a stick in Channel A and B for dual Channel mode

i have 2x16gb ram and it still shows me just one ram (it worked before the problem) any solutions??

Bad thing : I have to switch the rams everytime I turn off my pc

Well Micosoft gave me Bluescrens since august 2023 updates after so many a day x 30 x 3 months Poof * all i did was clean the Gpu and PC then insert it back in wtf Nogo
1 week L8tr swapping to another new spare MB #2 was ok 1st thenday L8tr no boot 1st MB left off 3 days then fiddling about 1 ram stick in A1 worked i, m on it now
Just when i thought my CPU died it was ram slots they work but not B1 B2 a1 & a2 wont work together yet but i'll persist or buy 1 x 16gb ram got be cheaper than $250 4 a MB

I cannot boot system
I have to remove one ram then boot pc
Then shutdown pc and insert 2nd ram then

this works but made it so i have to use single channel mode. my pc works with two sticks but i can only access 8/16gb of the ram if i use dual channel for some reason its so annoying
