Nutritional yeast! Full of good vitamins ~8g of protein per serving ;) Plus it’s super good on popcorn. A vegan classic

I’m vegan and at first focusing on getting more protein while remaining in a caloric deficit was difficult for me, but I’ve looked at soooo many labels and have done research on things that it has become a lot easier the last month or so.

Being in a grocery store and trying to read nutrition labels without touching too many things is very difficult.

I don’t always like drinking my protein either so I would just dump a scoop of chocolate protein on my serving of oatmeal right as it’s done in the microwave, and it melts into this delicious chocolatey oat breakfast. Solved my problem of not wanting to add sugars to my oats as well as the struggle of drinking my protein

There's a black soybean spaghetti you can get at aldi's that's 25g of protien. I first tried it because it's gluten free (and inexpensive), but found it very important trying to up protien.

I’m lactose intolerant and have been a vegetarian in and off. My favorite thing to do for extra protein and fat in my diet is to add nuts- especially oh n pasta. Walnuts are great in spaghetti no knife. You can also sprinkle on nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor, and added B vitamins.

I started eating cottage cheese + greek yogurt dip with doritos and now I trust every weird combo you've ever recommended

Amino acids that form protein originates in plants (nitrogen assimilation) and all plants have a varied percent of protein. I am vegan and love including beans, lentils, peas...etc. there are some great protein blends in the frozen veggie section that can have high protein amount for the bag. You are right, as you learn more and you put it into practice it gets easier as you go.

Greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt! Some companies have really expanded their flavors over the years from the boring plain and vanilla.

I love the barilla protein plus pasta! I’m so picky about angel hair, and they once subbed that in our grocery order for the regular angel hair. Then we actually ate it and have only used it since. The little things really do add up throughout the day.

I always thought I got enough protein until I started tracking my calories!!! Some days I wouldn’t even get half of my daily recommended amount 😳 I love adding beans to my meals, or use a high protein yogurt

Since I started this whole weight loss journey thing in January, I have gotten a lot better about checking labels, but I have mostly been comparing calorie counts for other brands, and checking for corn syrup (it's ridiculous how many things it's added in). I never thought to compare protein content. That's a good idea!

I add chiaseeds to my, breakfast mostly, oatmeal and yoghurt, but also other meals. You hardly notice it is in it and in every 15grams of chiaseeds there is 3 grams of protein!

I’ve added PB peanut butter protein powder with my Reese cups cereal, OMG so good you can’t even tell there’s protein powder in it!

I have protein powder because as a vegetarian it's almost impossible to fullfill your protein goals without increasing the overall calories 😩
Plus we don't have low calorie food options here in India😭

I understand wanting to have more protein, but I don’t recommend Fairlife milk. There is video evidence that they abuse their cows. You might not have known this, but something to keep in mind.
