When I started working out, my two main mistakes were lack of sleep and not eating enough (not being in a caloric surplus). I always thought I was eating enough and was disappointed because my weight stagnated. Then I got my first diet plan created (I think it was from nextleveldiet iirc). I realised that my previous food intake was way below my needs, although I thought I'm good. At the beginning it was hard to eat 3500 kcal in a day, but I got used to it. I started noticing real gains and it felt amazing. I wish I'd understood the importance of diet earlier.

Lentils, hemp seeds, oatmeal mixed with protein powder and soy milk (if you’re allergic to soy there’s almond/cashew protein milks). I would say Tofu but I don’t like Tofu outside of using it to make plant based french toast

I’m an Orthodox Christian and therefore have to go vegan several times a year, it’s always a struggle getting enough protein during the fasts, definitely looking forward to your vegan protein powder and cookbook, they have potential to be real game changers for me and other members of my parish!

Since I bought the cookbook went from 295 lbs to 267

Silk Ultra has 20g of protein per 8oz. Found in Walmart and many major grocery stores in the US. Barilla has a protein PASTA now! Tastes like regular pasta.
