Hi guys, I would like you guys’ insight on this.

Long story short, I was talking to a coworker this past Friday and I decided to invite her out to eat. She said no because she was wearing a company t shirt and didn’t have make up on, and because she was leaving late. Does this mean no?

Prior to this, about two weeks before, she told me she was single and that her messages were dry lol.

For context: we both work in the office, and I am the only guy in the admin department (about 12 people in admin) All the other guys in the office are higher ups and are older. I’ve been working there for a little over a year, and I’ve never really spoken to her since (unless it’s work related or small talk) I used to talk to the other girls (just friendly talk) Unfortunately, the girls that I thought I was cool with were talking trash about me since I won an award and a bomber jacket (keep in my mind this was at the beginning of 2023, less than one year of working there. Those girls thought that it was unfair since they’ve been there longer and claim to work me than I do - they chit chat and gossip lol). They also talk trash about the girl that I invited out to eat. This girl is my bosses right hand. This girl also told me that they are haters, and told me not to worry since she sees that I work, and my boss also said that I really deserved it lol.
