Ok guys there is a far simpler method to reduce sugar spikes. Just start your major meals with a bowl of salad. Finish and start whatever else you are eating. This works very well and the salads are loved by the gut bacteria. It's their most liked food - fibre. So feed them and start eating.

Whén we toast the bread, starch turns to Dextrin, same happens with semolina.
When we refrigerate thé bread, starch crystallize and soft bread get firm.same happens with cooked rice.

Wow i always keep the bread in the freezer and then have it whenever i want. Never knew that it was helpful. Its anyways a sprouted grain bread so i wasnt too worried about the blood sugar spikes

But if you don't have diabetes, you don't have to worry about Glycemic index. Blood sugar spike is natural part of body. It goes up after you eat and goes back to normal after some time. Some foods do make it spike it more, but it's nothing to worry about.

You might want to add one imp detail. Glucose spike is normal and non diabetic people don't need to worry about spike. It's good info for diabetic people though.

Don't refrigerate your rice. it's better to eat when it's freshly cooked or it may cause food poisoning due to harmful bacteria.
