It's actually insane that the plea for a delay was denied because "innocence was incompletely established".
My eight year old could tell you that in these United States, every man is innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.

“Revictimized the family”. Do you not think that throwing them into mainstream news and the possibility that someone else who killed their daughter could still be loose is not revictimization?

There will be no finality. There will be a day in which the wrongdoers would all pay for their crimes. And never think that Allāh is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them [i.e., their account] for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror] quran 14:42

All the evidence against him was questionable. It didn't prove his guilt beyond reasonable doubt. All the evidence led during the court proceedings does not prove he's the right guy. His DNA was never found inside the house even though there was quite a lot of DNA found inside the house even fingerprints, which didn't match the deceased and her husband, but it also didn't match the accused, now that doubt alone is grounds enough for no conviction.
He might have sold the laptop, but he said he got it from the ex-girlfriend, and it's quite possible if you consider the type of work she was involved in. The other belongings I'd be dishonest if I said it didn't shock me how they were found a year after the incident still sitting in his grandfather's car, seems to me that they were planted there to say the least because man, how convenient? What are the odds? Then, add that questionable chain of custody of the evidence, the most questionable witnesses with ulterior motives, and you can't claim because they said something that was not publicized, then they're reliable because you were not there, you don't know what they were told by the investigating officers. This to me sounds like a crime of passion more than a robbery gone wrong, the number of times she was stabbed is consistent with that theory, and the perpetrator might have been known to the victim. The crime might have been committed by someone very close to the victim. But the law enforcement needed, a scapegoat or a closure to the case, and who better to target if not a Mr Williams with a long list of felonies. This was a miscarriage of justice than anything. I mean the whole justice system depended solely on questionable informants' account of the events, and some questionable circumstantial evidence to secure its conviction...man that's very, very bad if you ask me.

I think if the innocent project has done research and needs time to find evidence they should give him at least more time to find out if he did it.
