Who Is Marcellus Williams Facing Execution in Missouri Despite DNA Evidence Supporting Innocence

DNA evidence not available at the time of Mr. Williams’ trial proves his innocence, but has not been considered in court.

His DNA not present during a robbery could be avoided by wearing gloves. Look I get it people like to base things on factual evidence like DNA but his DNA not on the knife means nothing if he wore gloves. Why isn’t this post letting you know that he not only admit the killing to his cell mate that he killed this girl but also his past girlfriend.. why isn’t this post letting you know that a stolen laptop belong to the victim was found in his possession and later sold to someone that came forward that he sold it to him. Why isn’t this post letting you know that his girlfriend found her purse in his possession and when she asked him why he admitted that he killed her. Why isn’t this post letting you know that he also was found with stolen jewelry belonging to the victim. And why isn’t this post letting you know that he attempt to escape from the county jail. He surely didn’t try to escape because he was innocent.

Official paperwork shows his then girlfriend testified he was wearing a jacket that matched the description of a jacket stolen from the house. It was a hot day, reason he wore it was to conceal victims blood . She also testified she saw a laptop that matched description of one stoles from. Home. His friend also testified he had confessed to the murder

I have a question. Are you guys trying to get Scott Peterson off on a technicality? Being the Innocence Project, wouldn’t you be trying to find people that you believe are innocent to try and help release? This is very disheartening. I hope this isn’t true, but it is getting bigger on social media - being spread around, and I know that won’t look good for you guys.

What evidence was used to convict him? NO, there was no DNA found, not someone elses. He was not convicted because of his good looks and charm, or without evidence. I am sure appeals boards have heard all the evidence against him. He has to pay for his crime.
