A St. Louis County circuit judge on Thursday ruled that Marcellus Williams' death sentence would not be vacated or set aside.

The decision from Judge Bruce Hilton comes weeks after Hilton signed off on an agreement that would have spared Williams from the death penalty in exchange for an Alford plea.

The defense should have demanded independent testing on the DNA rather then.taking the states word the dna belonged ro prosecutirs during trial...

Oh? And how would that work? Williams is serving life on unrelated charges, so how exactly would getting rid of his death sentence result in "freedom"?

Inncocent?!! He stabbed a woman to death, robbed her, then confesses to 2 different people. Then they found her belongings in his car.
