I believe in Christ alone! Not my works. God is not tabulating my works to see if I cross a threshold to have eternal life. I’m sealed by His Spirit because I believe in Him and His blood atonement. It’s that easy! And now, I do good works BECAUSE of his gift of eternal life and His love for me!

James is talking about salvation on the tribulation time for the Jews once they realize that Jesus is the messiah. Read chapter 1 verse 1 of James it’s directed to the Jews. I implore you to back and read that and get the whole context. You have to rightly divide the word to get proper doctrine. 2nd Timothy chapter 2 verse 15- study to show thy self approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. And you rightly divide by time and by people. Jesus gives this very example when he reads the prophecy in Isiah in his home town temple.

Do you believe that doing works is a requirement for salvation or a result of it? Does someone have to do works before coming to Christ or a during/while they are saved in order to keep/maintain their salvation?

Faith alone will not save you from God’s earthly judgement. It’s not talking about salvation. Please take context into account when you quote scripture. Every time the word save, saved, or salvation pops up in scripture does not automatically mean it’s talking about eternal life.

You have set up a straw men against easy believism by saying that we preach a person can be saved an live however they want to live. No one in their right mind would ever preach that because you are saved you can go about and live like a devil as if thats what were called to do. If a saved person does live like a devil God will be chastising that person in time and there will be a loss of rewards in heaven not a loss of salvation. And no you are not saved by saying a prayer you are justified by faith. You are not saved by loving Jesus or letting him have authority over youre life you are simply saved by believing that he died for your sins on the cross was buried and rose again from the dead and putting youre trust in him alone as youre personal saviour. The word 'SHOULD' in ephesians 2:10 dosent mean 'WILL'. You are preaching a false gospel and a grace hater.

The Gospel is easy to believe, that's how God designed it. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ apart from the works of the law. Simple! Add anything to the Gospel, anything other than faith, and it becomes a false gospel of works salvation. God's Word is crystal clear. Its not my Gospel. it comes from the mind of God, so if you can't accept it, then you have a problem with God and not those who proclaim God's Gospel. Deny God's Word and you are calling God a liar and accusing Him of not saying things He clearly said. If you don't believe God's Word below, then you are an unbeliever, it ain't rocket science!
