I don't need people to drive me crazy, I can walk there on my own, it's not far at all.

If I'm feeling fatigued, brain fogged, or unwell in any way that makes me feel like crap, I'm more prone to feeling like nearly everything people tell me to be an insult or annoyance. However, whenever I'm well-rested and healthy, I'm much much more emotionally resilient and other people's negative behaviors barely affect me . Certain psychological and philosophical tricks can help ease the sting of insults (whether real or perceived) to a certain extant, but overall, being healthy is the best antidote to antagonistic behaviors.

This talk brought me to tears -- it's so on point after a conversation with an old friend. Another hard day, after what seems like an eternity of hard days. Increasingly, "true colors" seem to be showing up in relationships that have been around for many years. Nerves are raw from this extended time of fear -- of disease, isolation, financial ruin, death, collapse of institutions. We are witnessing humanity at its best in the form of the healthcare workers -- and at its worst in the lack of empathy and cruelty against large segments of society. So much of what we believed in as "real" is in question. Throughout the day I find myself vacillating between times of oneness and peace -- and despair. Working on longer meditation times to lessen the swings of that pendulum. Thanks, Russell, for your dedication and for sharing your own vulnerability. Thank you for the reminder of what's real!

intelligent, wise...but at the same time...human and not afraid of showing your humility to the masses. Much praise my friend and thank you for the talk this morning!

Since I have started reading Mr Russell Brand's books years ago and watching his content on YouTube, there is another companion right next to me on standby: a dictionary.

You have to focus on yourself. Improve yourself. Understand
other's criticism but don't let them bother you. That's how you live a good life 🤙

It takes me by surprise how one minute I'm doing so well, and the next I feel incredibly sad. Thank you for this reminder to get into a program to connect with our higher self.

I get less stressed when I’m alone, but I feel a little empty. I go to the store just to be around humans sometimes.

Your transformation continues to astound me, Russell. Your honesty about yourself is, for me, the most inspiring quality you possess. May you continue to be a vessel of wisdom which has been hard won through your experiences and willingness to do the work. God bless you, sustain you, and strengthen you.

"Marital matters of a nocturnal variety" is ingenious and my new favourite expression.

I loved the break I got from my manager during lockdown, you’re right it’s communication problem. Just 1 example, she adds and removes IT permissions from me all the time without telling me which just leads to hours of confusion for me😩 I don’t know how to not get angry/resentful towards her for it because it’s a power thing she likes to have over me.

I've been around to see Russel, evolve from his original media incarnation all the way through to his current self-aware self. I have generally always enjoyed him as an entertainer thanks to his articulate and comedic nature. I never in my life would have guessed this is the direction he would have taken in his life, and I am just so thankful. Not only for, Russel, because I can see just how much of a positive impact his awakening has had for him, but thankful that he uses his fame to share his experiences and guide anyone who would like to listen and learn from him. I've never felt so connected to an individual's way of thinking as I do with Russel, today, and would like to truly, truly thank him for being someone I can go to today for some good advice, and come away feeling a little more positive about my own life and that there is still a chance for inner piece and happiness.
Thank you, Russel.

This is my favorite of these videos -- self-effacing, so honest, trying not to get irritated with the microphone and the plant -- beautifully human

What I love the most about listening to Russell out of many things is the kind language, the lack of shaming or superiority, there is no need from him to play out the cards from your hand.
