This Filipino Chicken Adobo is the easiest chicken thigh recipe ever, and today I will show you why!

Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp oil
- 6 pieces chicken thigh (2 lbs, bone-in, skin on)
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 tbsp black pepper corns
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 stalk green onion

My wife, who is Filipino, makes adobo very similar to what you made, but she uses boneless chicken and it is really good! "Adobo a go-go baby"

When I lived in Las Vegas one of my neighbors was an elderly lady from Philippines. She used to ask me to help her unload groceries and carry her laundry from her car to her apartment. She used to make this once a week in her slow cooker and always brought me a huge container full. (she said I was too skinny to be a chef) I love Adobo Chicken!!! (And I don't eat a lot of chicken) The garlic turned green because you steamed it in vinegar steam...If it were in the sauce it would have browned. ADOBO A_GO_GO_BABY!!!!

Secret tip for the garlic 🧄. Next time lightly garlic the garlic the oil before you put the chicken to brown and you can put it back when you add the soy sauce and vinegar. It infuses the oil and gives the garlic a cartelized taste;adding richness and more depth of flavor. Fry lightly bay leaf and peppercorns release more aroma too.

This looks so amazing catchu!!! Chicken thighs are my favorite part of the chicken I like to start them on the stovetop in a cast iron and finish them in the oven. I’m going to try this sauce though that you made. Great vid as always! 😅😅😅
