You said “prends” while cooking Filipino adobo. That adds to the authenticity 😂 When the Filipino aunties approve, you know you have something special. Thank you.

Thanks for this. I'm cooking this for my mrs for when she comes home from work, she's a nurse and is having a hard time at the moment due to COVID-19.

For me, best part of the video is always when both of you come together to eat what you cooked. And finish it all. I feel most happy then.

Hello! Filipino here! I’m a huge fan of yours! Thank you for cooking our famous dish! Btw, there are still different kinds of Adobo here, depending on some parts of the Philippines. Yours is more likely the classic one that we usually cook. Hope you could also try the other kinds. More power to your channel! ❤️

Hi, Seonkyoung! I saw this video the morning it came out and made this for dinner that very night. I'm Filipino and I really enjoyed your recipe! Adding the sake and fish sauce really enhanced the flavor! I added about a tablespoon of grated ginger to the sauce to make it feel like my mom's. And I really appreciated that there was plenty of sauce to drizzle over rice at the end. Amazing recipe. Thank you for giving Filipinos a shout out and for helping other people get a taste of our food! ❤😁

I'm Filipino. My mom makes amazing adobo, but she doesn't measure so it always tastes different every time. I'm going to make this sometime this week. Thank you for your lovely videos. We have been enjoying your recipes here!

My stepmom is Filipino and she raised me since I was in 5th grade. This was one of the first dishes she taught me to make. MY FAVORITE

In Malaysia, we have Ayam Masak Kicap if translated to English it will be Chicken Soy sauce. Chicken Adobo looks like Malaysia Ayam Masak Kicap. Yummy! Please cook Malaysian cuisine in your next video Seonkyoung. Love you!

I'm a sushi chef, and I always add sake or soju on my adobo when I make employee meal because it erases any traces of gamey-ness. Your adobo looks bomb!

I’m not Filipino but I travel there a lot because my music is pretty popular there. (Passenger Seat & Out Of My League are big hits). I am also a chef by day, and I have been looking for a good Adobo recipe and this is the BEST. THANK YOU!!!!

Hi, I'm a Filipino, I aslo experiment with our traditional adobo, I tried red wine, sometimes with balsamik vinegar instead of white one, and apples.
Adobo is versatile dish and can be adopted anywhere.

Thank you for appreciating our National dish! Hahaha
