These nutrient-rich liver foods aid in liver detoxification and create a vacuum effect, helping you lose weight from the midsection. To make these natural liver detox smoothies, combine the ingredients with one cup of water and one cup of ice.

Cruciferous vegetables like kale aid in liver detoxification and have anti-inflammatory properties. Pomegranate also decreases inflammation and prevents fat from accumulating in the liver.

4. Papaya
Combine one whole chopped papaya with water and ice. Papaya is loaded with enzymes that can help digestion and decrease inflammation in the liver.

5. Celery and blueberries
Combine 1 cup of chopped celery with 1 cup of blueberries. Celery Increases bile production and reduces liver inflammation. Blueberries reduce liver fat, and their polyphenols help remove excess iron from the body.

6. Cucumber and lemon
Combine 1 cup of each of these ingredients. Cucumber is hydrating and has electrolytes. It increases liver detoxification and can help prevent NAFLD. Lemon can also improve liver detoxification.

7. Avocado and strawberries
Combine 1 cup of each! Avocado contains glutathione, one of the most potent antioxidants, and also has reparative properties for the liver. Strawberries help increase overall liver function and metabolism and remove fat from the liver.

8. Coconut and papaya
Coconut contains lauric acid, which is beneficial for the immune system. It contains MCT fat, which turns into ketones. This combination decreases inflammation and scarring on the liver.

Eat healthy, exercise/walk a mile daily, take vitamin tabs, eat black garlic, fermented cabbage such as Sauerkraut & kimchi, take one spoon of extra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar, drink kefir yogurt drink, matcha green tea and sleep well. That's what I've done and just celebrated my 90th birthday lately. 😊

What he doesnt mention is that when you change your diet to about 50% fruits and veggies, you have so much more energy and mental clarity. Your body just wants to get out there and do something meaningful. I swear. I havent been sick since 2012

Dr. Berg, you have been an incredible teacher, guide and resource! I have been wanting to thank you for a video you had years ago for saving my gall bladder! I was in on and off pain for a year, until it was so bad, went to emergency and found out what it was gallstones—and all the doctors, family and friends said I had to remove my gall bladder. I followed your pressure points and eating guide, and after about one month, the pain was gone! And has been gone since Jan 2020. I still have the stones but able to eat normally now. Thank you again for being such an amazing contribution to humanity! ❤

The timing of this video is perfect. Agout 2 months ago i had a pain on my lower rib. Got blood tests done and its come back with liver levels are abit high for risk. Ive noticed a fatigue lately. Time to get that liver back on track
