Taiwan TV Series Depicting China Invasion Sparks Debate

The trailer of a TV series portraying a Chinese invasion is prompting a wave of emotional response and anxious debate in Taiwan. “Zero Day” is partly funded by Taiwan's government and the trailer was released this week, coinciding with annual military drills on the island.

I am in Taiwan and never heard about it. A few years ago was a TV series named “Island Nation” and the first Taiwan Strait Crisis played a part in it. These days TV in Taiwan is all about the typhoon catastrophe and U.S. elections.
