Watch: China Releases Video Showing Attacks on Taiwan | A Message to the US? | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Tensions soar in the Taiwan Strait as China conducts its “punishment drills” near the island nation. The drills are seen as a response to Taiwan's new president, Lai Ching-te, whom Beijing considers a “dangerous separatist”. China launched these drills just two days after Lai took his oath of office. Recently, Chinese state broadcaster CCTV released an animated video depicting a missile strike on Taiwanese cities. The exercises are also seen as a warning to the US, which supplies Taiwan with military aid. Chinese President Xi Jinping has previously warned the US not to interfere in China's "red line" on Taiwan. Palki Sharma tells you more.

That simulation is only applicable if no other countries will interfere during chinas invasion. The outcome of the simulation will be entirely different if allied countries interfere and thats a fact.

Always remember China has never won a major war against a foreign power in over 100 years. Vietnam beat China in 1979, Japan stomped on China during WW2 and had to be saved by America, and the British took Hong Kong from China in the 1800's. That's not a good track record when it comes to war.
