My partner and I had almost this exact issue. We both took it upon ourselves to take therapy separately and together in a couple therapy where our arguments were no longer able to be a “who’s right and why?” And became so much more understanding. I’ve never been able to communicate with a partner this way before and it feels so much better. If you ever feel like your arguments are heavy and scary to approach, from either side, let someone come in and help mediate that and navigate you and your partner through the emotions and feelings lost in translation when we are hurt or angry.

I love this! The pace is a little fast for me, so I watched it several times ! Thank you. I hope I’m more skilled and mature in my next relationship. It takes courage to admit my own faults and it took courage to realize as well that it wasn’t all my fault even if I was assigned or was pushing back and wanted family counseling or was doing my own work.
