Today I wanted to share my thoughts on Dragona Joestar, one of our new protagonists in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

I don't think Deagona is named such because of "drag", but because of "dragon". They're literally covered in dragon tattoos, after all.

I'm a native Japanese speaker, and the only people who would ever refer to Hermes as "Oniiichan" are the slightly geeky people who kinda like internet memes.
In the character introduction scene in Part 9, when Jodio called Dragona "oniiichan", he obviously meant it as "older sibling".

As a person who does drag its something you do for the stage haha. Drag queens don't spend all day in costume it's far too hot and every drag performer I know dresses and identifies as a man when they aren't performing.

Joseph joestar is the only Canon drag queen in jojos 😔

Dragona is the charecter araki tried to do in stone ocean, someone who tottaly ignores gender identity.
He ultimatley wasnt satisied with the design of the charecter in stone ocean and drew them more masculaline (causing some confusion) but here hes had several years of planning to get it just right.

I don't think I would mind Dragona 's gender identity either which way they decided it, i just want them to make it to the end of the story and be respected as a character, cuz they're probably my favorite joestar so far.

I should've known people were going to have a debate on Dragona's gender, hopefully Araki makes it more clear to all audiences whether they're trans with a dense/unsupportive brother (which I originally thought) or not (anything else to clear it up to the audience)

as someone who likes crossdressing, i might be biased, but I also interpreted it as wanting to be identified as a male but still dressing as a girl, its simply really fun and it feels more comfortable, it has nothing to do with identity to me and its just a way of presenting myself!!!! dragona win
