I like that the trailer repeats the dad saying “he’s just a sweet little boy” it shows his carelessness and how most parents don’t ever think their own child could do something so terrifying

This movie hits so close to home. It haunts me. I'm often brought back to the trailer, because my mother was a Special Education teacher in elementary school and most of her kids were beautiful and thoughtful and eager to try and do well in life. But every so often she'd get a kid she knew was a "Kevin" and all she could do was talk to admin about it. Nothing was ever done. She had five or six students who raised major red flags when they were in her class. She would bring it to the attention of the school and the school board, but was often dismissed. All five of those kids are now adults. Two in jail for plotting a mass shooting. One who is in jail for murder. And two others who were imprisoned for violent acts. I know in my heart she would have known the instant she met Kevin. The mother knew. No one listened. No one cared.

I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever been affected by any other movie like this one, I think about it at least a couple times a month ever since I saw it. It’s filmed so beautifully it’s really haunting.

People who want to see this film shouldn't read the description of this video. It kind of reveals a part of the film that is best unknown to enjoy it to its fullest. Fantastic film by the way. I recommend Ratcatcher as another great work by Lynne Ramsay... Now.. to ruin my slightly respectable and insightful comment by saying I am absolutely hammered and am on verge of passing out. I have to watch this movie for my forensic psychology class, I thought it was gonna be another boring "and they lived happily ever after, despite the mental illness" movie but after seeing this trailer it seems far more realistic. That's good

To those who haven't watched it : please do not read anything or search anything or talk to anyone who have already seen this movie. Just go blind. It will take a matter of second to spoil the entire movie and people will do it without even knowing it. And yes, this is highly recommended !!
