Where does the Bible teach that the church is infallible and aren’t you giving credence to sola scriptura when you say that “the Bible says” the church is infallible?

If sola scriptura was a doctrine it would have to be in the Bible right?? But it isnt thats the point the Bible says that the church is the pillar of truth and the Church made the Bible but then you say that the Church isn’t infallible if thats the case then the bible is wrong or could be wrong then in that case why trust the bible? especially the bible alone?

If the Bible is the inspired word of God (which it is) there is no need for it to state its infallibility, since God is infallible.

What a hypocrise. Purgatory is not in the bible, not even ik concept, intercession of Saints, mariology, nothing of that is in scripture and gou stilll believe in it because the priest said so

Scripture speaks against a pope, transubstantiation, purgatory, praying to saints, Mary: Queen of heaven, the confessional and icons just to name a few. Gee I wonder why Catholics don't agree with Sola Scriptura?

I'm curious. The catholic church canonized the books of the Bible. Accepting some books, rejecting others. Why did they reject others? Because they were found to not be authoritative. Why did they accept some? Because they were found to BE authoritative. So if the catholic church says these books are the only authoritative books. Then.... Sola Scriptura.

In my opinion : if sola scriptura is true that would mean that no modern day preacher can proficy or be inspired by The Holy Spirit to speak Gods word without referring to the Bible, in the Bible however especially in the new testament we often see "so says The Lord" when the spirit speaks trough someone ...

Further more scripture advices you to learn from the elders in your church ... If that is the case it seems like sola scriptura contradicts itself ... When the person that introduced that thought did so protesting against the church ... Thus those who shared his opinion are called protestants
